Pelicans? Clippers? Thunder?
I wouldn’t do that to OKAYSEE.
But I would def move the Clippers. San Diego or Seattle? My preference would be Louisville. I’d even take them in Cincinnati. Move and rebrand the Pelicans, too. Maybe take them to Vegas.

Los Angeles went without the NFL for 2 decades!
Will Austin get NHL or will they be tethered to the Stars? Atlanta probably still needs more time, but what’s up with the likes of Cleveland, Milwaukee or pinko Portland? Quebec City FOR REAL. Nebraska Diesel?
What about baseball?
And, I’m only going to speak seriously for a change, so here we go:
Nashville, Charlotte and Montreal are in the east.
Austin and San Antonio have a fight on their hands in the future under the big sky umbrella of Texas, as Rangers range. Samsies for NFL really.
Salt Lake City and Portland out west. Not sure if Portland is American anymore, but Sacramento might have the money.
Churchball: seems like many o’ weekly venue could handle the roadtrip worth of fans. Birmingham can tailgate like Green Bay. Only a million less people in Alabamy over Cheesehat. Likely Alabama would be on its own. Mississippi would still be Saints. Falcons are Falcons. Can we slide Louisville in there?
San Antonio is kind of short & curlies around Cowboys & Texans. Ditto Austin. El Paso meh. Much in the same vein as Alabama is around the oasis Albuquerque. San Diego is an emptiness of sorts. Portland Potties. Kind of leaves the Utah Mountains in my mind. https://sportleaguemaps.com/football/nfl/
NBA
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1nq0r8/heres_a_map_i_made_of_all_nba_teams_organised_by/
Seattle is pretty obvious. Vancouver lost their shot.
St. Louis too tired of black people? Same with Pittsburgh? Don’t need even more spiderheads in Cinci either.
I think Louisville big time beacons bball. Without the Vegas vacancy the old Super Sonics would be a blazingly easy choice. Nobody taking me up on the two town West Coast SuperSonics brand. It happened before with the Kansas City- Omaha Kings. Vegas being more touristy I believe of all towns, part timing it could be pulled off there.
Major baseball and football
Major super cricket and national Elbow ball. Some teams play home in a different jurisdiction
It’s just a technicality that NewJersey and the crowded DC beltway and NYC know all too well.
Could the Monsters of Midway rebrand to the Chicago Fightin’ Jacksons? Are we still in Kansas anymore?
Louisville would be better than Jacktown Floorduh, would it not?
To hell with a Londonistan move.
Relocate the Chargers. Recoin them Power. But to where?
Portland Power?
Utah Charge?
Idaho Diesel?
Toronto Power? Norde Force? Mounties? Huge market.
Louisville Lightning? Kentucky Downs? Anyone attached to the Jags brand?
Doesn’t have to make sense, but I’ll say it anyway. And really doesn’t have to make sense.
Really want Atlanta to have a team, BUT Florida Panthers to Portland. Rename them the Potties. Or Commies.
Take the Nights and make them Kansas City- Omaha.
Sorry Miami and Vegas, you touristy towns. Be Florida Lightning. I thought about Austin & Atlanta combo camps for a Southlakes Fisherman brand. Maybe rename KC-Omaha Diesel or Trucking. Think of the cross pollination of hockey fans and non-fans for just the brand.
I’m just funnin’
Dick move to not swipe one of two out of both NYC and greater LA, right?
Okay, Islanders where and Ducks where?
Las Vegas will need backup.
Put the Triple-A club around Portland. New stadium and a lot more high level ball for them.
Have the West Coast A’s be there par-time too.
Should the Rays go to San Antonio or Salt Lake City? The 28th ranked media market for Utah’s hearth.
San Antonio is #31 south and west and south of Dallas and Houston’s turf. Well, the Colorado club has no close neighbors so that may help settle that matter.
Previous post discusses covering Charlotte and Nashville with relocation.
What now MLB, no Carolina Atlantics battling Portland Pacifics?
Mountains vs. Sounds?!
Utah ballOrioles to Charlotte
White Sox to Nashville
Crowded Chicago and capitol.
Expansion can simmer down a bit.
Outdoor big leagues is covered for ol’ Porkopolis.
The city is posturing for arena sites.
The Cincinnati Gardens is a ghost with their ol’ Royals NBA shadow and their Beatles echo.
Riverfront Coliseum has for a long time been nowhere near NHL standards, even though many acts have poured through, including a healthy dose of minor league hockey and arena football for a long time.
AHL and ECHL thrived in town simultaneously around the turn of the century. Many acts of hockey, indoor football and elbow ball coursed indoors, most memorably for me being the Cincinnati Rockers, Cyclones and Mighty Ducks at different venues.
I really feel Louisville will garner the Rastafarian NBA before upriver does. Will Cincinnati do more hockey and upscale NCAA tourneys? Sounds about right for Sweet sixteens and great eights. Two minor league hockey teams would be beer and hotdog fun.
We shall see.
NYC, Chicago and LA today.
Yankees were with the Dodgers and Giants.
But did you know St. Louis was rocking two at once? So was Boston. The Athletics bounced from Philly to Kansas City before the Oakland to Las Vegas hop.
Throwback to 1945 season thanks to Wikipedia
The traveling baseball show of Savannah Bananas is expanding teams. Drum roll:
Indianapolis Clowns
Loco Beach is multi-towned, Foxboro, Mass and Orlando among them.
Brands are on their own.
Do St. Louis peops root for LA? I doubt it. Maybe some transient black Israelites do. They always have.
If the Bengals vacated Cincinnati and moved to Louisville, well ... a lot of big Bengal fans might, and proximity helps. But Bengal nation would barely grow.
Let me guess.
Off the top of my noggin:
Raiders
Los Angeles. Oakland. Las Vegas. San Antonio surely would've taken them. I feel even though Texas is far from the original spot, Raider nation is a brand that stays stuck to the dude
Portland wishes
...they didn't puff tran knee pipe.
Cowtoys?
Lakers?
Yankees.
That’s it right? Were it not for the economic reality of moving for better job pay and opportunity I would take shot at all the ppl from NY or LA that move far for good job.
Things like Mississippi Braves moving to Columbus, Georgia

NHL
Do like minor league baseball and keep it weird. Or make it weird.
Attendance problems aren’t death knells for baseball markets, but teams like the White Sox, already in Cubbieland, and those Florida teams could spread to thirstier markets, and making expansion prospects in decades to come more interesting.
As MLB dictator, I’d make way for the Carolina White Sox
I’d free up the Rays for Nashville.
Make the Marlins Florida again. Bounce around towns down there.
Have the Angels be California again. Show Sacramento some love.
I think this takes care of a baseball for a long while. Over the years, I’ve fallen out of favor for Portland and Montreal.
No matter what, the fans can show up in whatever homejob t-shirts and tell lawyers to piss off.
So, if Sacramento has a bigger market in terms of television and TV market eyeballs, how will they bolster their case for expansion if they show out and show up for hosting the Athletics while it takes years to get the ballfield built in Vegas.
Does the Capitol of California deserve shit for having too many ghetto dumbdumb voters and vein villain dicktasters, I mean dictators ?
Will fans wear Sacramento A’s shirts. Will they wear Utah Athletics hats?
And it’s not XFL USFL. It shouldn’t be NCAA or NAACP gaslighting Noah or the arc.
So, the XFL played all the games in Birmingham, right? Legit question from me actually, but anyway. Didn’t seem like a need for repping a city, state or territory.
Why not a brand. It’s getting that way for all the sports anyway. Skip to it. For all the sports why not just do my Cincinnati Mercy Healths and Cincinnati Krogerses? Why flippin not. Sponsored by Human Services.
So, yeah. Do the Coca Colas in Atlanta for a minor league team in Atlanta. Do them all in Atlanta if need be. Dr. Peppers rivaling Coke or Mt. Dew. The NIL deals have shown all the illiterate ass.
Do games around tents on county fairgrounds. Let’s just not do more double negative 14th grade retardation on college fields.
Okay, okay, I’ll lighten up. Cincinnati Bang Gulls take on some Green Bay Backers. Or some Los Angeles Ma’ams v. Philly Beagles.
I could probably also argue the Las Vegas Aviators/51s remain in place for the big club. It probably won’t, but I don’t know, don’t care. Personally, I would go for the Golden Gate Steinles in memory of Kate Steinle, but I believe the Oakland Illegal Aliens would have a better chance. Or maybe the Alemeda County Sizzurps. Oakland Aviation? The ShortHops?

It’s a sex trafficketed monkeyhole, and like Portland isn’t that much of an American city anymore.
Las Vegas is a resort. In not too terribly long, it seems they will be the Coca-Cola Athletics, and maybe you’ll choose to root for the Kellogg Tigers and your son will love the the Gucci Mets. Maybe your daughter will like the Disney Marlins or Mickeys.
Too many third worlders in a place amounts to a third world place
Have respect for yourselves. I mean, you’re an NBA town that heads up to the lake for the weekend for the Sunday football.
Let Nashville be the Brew Crew.
Expansion could then be more for Montreal and Charlotte. Portland has the CHAZ Trailblazers, so they don’t need MLB ever. Vegas would still be a road team as a home team. And maybe Quebec can go eff itself and Austin tout Cattlemen Baseball. Good Lord, would Central Texas Trucking be a badass brand?

After celebration of the first black vs half-black QBs for a Souper Bowl showdown, people wanting to watch football can toon or tune into the XFL.
Here are the teams ( https://www.profootballnetwork.com/how-many-teams-are-in-the-xfl/)
Seattle and St. Louis seem to be islands in a regionalsssss league, upon scoping the map.
And yes, spread the love.
Cleveland is taken care of, and for all intents and purposes, especially when side-by-sided to Cincinnati, could be in another state anyway. Shots fired!
Columbus and Cinci are obvious choices as landing spots, Dayton and Toledo slightly less so, but no less important.
Preseason, which spans less than 3 weeks, in my opinion and imagination, should take place in Toledo. Holy Toledo. Regular season games should cater to the Cincinnati/Dayton and Columbus markets. Exhibitions can also be played around year to year in the likes of Youngstown to Athens to Portsmouth or Chillicothe.
I would love for there to be a Columbus Fieldhouse if some situation the hockey’s Nationwide isn’t doable. 20 regular season games there, and in Middletown (between Cinci and Dayton) would plant quite a nice flag. Plus, as some sort of compromise to ownership groups wanted everything seemingly completely floated by the taxpayer, multi-venue facilities justify the facts more than does the contemporary situations of the bill footed in the likes of Hamilton County Ohio and the NFL Bengals.
Logo-istically, in addition to multinodal home/camp play, I envision a multi-logo Ohio Aviation brand. The military’s Space Force has snagged the Star Trek, but the “A” with a swoop around dogfighting jet would be nice for the Aces of Aviation. Bomber pre-warm up jackets (individualized). Star fleet fan section. Let your mind take flight on the array logos, perhaps smaller venues, and surrounding entertainment districts, and more inclusive fan buy-in. Flirt it out with a D-G—O or whatever developmental team.

In my imagination I spy a Miami Might and a Cross Denver (sporting a nurse emblem), as far as map gap goes. Salt Lake Saltines is giggly.
Yes yes yes, Cross Colorado is rough. Mountin'. What about Albuquerque Venetians or PortlandMantoos? What about the San Fran or Cincinnati Stunners? Alabama Slammaz and Oklahoma Cowgals. Omaha Mamas, Boise Girlsie, and some Utah….Yes Please! Disney World Stars?
www.si.com/wnba/2022/06/02/wnba-may-add-two-expansion-teams-before-2024-reportTake a look at some of these Reddit maps
Leaves a lot to laughs and a lot to some better future filling in. My compliments to Alabama in having portal pros outside of the Crimson Tide. And the whole inaugural season for all the teams is played in Bama. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Football_League_(2022)
Houston, New Orleans, Tampa and Birmingham form half the teams.
The other half is comprised of Michigan, New Jersey and the two cities in Pennsylvania of Pitt and Philly. Not sure the western half of the country is Houston Gambler Nation.
I’m all for wider representation. Ohio Aviators, …even if a lot of the team may very well be half literate ghettoids from not-Ohio. Time for some Kentucky Downs. Oklahoma Oilers. Utah Hawks. Oregon Trucking. Nebraska Farmers. Midwest Fishing based outta’ wherever,….multiple nodes, as talked about on this blog time and time again. Apparel and branding big misses still exist by the leagues, especially for people who could care less about the team sports, but would wear a Road Warriors shirt. Detroit Diesel. Austin Bike Club. New Mexico Posse. On and on.
I’m looking forward to the likelihood college baseball will be elevated over MLB viewership. But I’m talking about MLB in Nashville and Memphis over Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, both markets about 250 miles away from Hotlanta.
Yes, baseball shot down a two-place team, and maybe it wasn’t the right fit in the form of Montreal and Tampa. But the Florida Marlins should be reborn as a two place team at St.Pete and Miami, freeing up a franchise a la Rays to Charlotte, and MLB can expand to Montreal/Vancouver and Nashville/Memphis. I think both the Tennessee and Carolina big brands of baseball can play in new 25k seat stadiums in the era of the TV being more lucrative than ticket. And they should share time with a nice minor league park, like in Memphis and Raleigh. Smaller, more romantic and right-sized parks and more hearts grown fonder. Charlotte has MiLB cheerleaders. So does Nashville.
