Contraction?

I've heard rumblings, though it hasn't been this year.

In MLB, Tampa is a woeful show.  Miami isn't the greatest trip either.  It is said that maybe it should've stayed the Grapefruit League.  I think the State of Florida should go from having two teams to one again, the Florida Marlins, being the 1997 and 2003 World Series Champs.

They can't split time between the Bay and the Beach, ya' know?!

Make the fish fan hearts grow a little bit fonder for their butts in the home seats.
Anybody else?

I don't know.  Can we get the Nordiques back in Quebec City already???!!!  I mean, c'mon NHL.  Outside of Suburbia Toronto how many more spots can you land in hockey homeland?

Back to baseball.  I think the A's and Rays can relocate instead of disappearing.  Certainly the historical Athletics can't vanish.  I wish they would split cities with Las Vegas.  Maybe even have Portland instead of Oakland as the West Coast A's.

NBA.  Times move faster these days.  Distance decay is super highwayed and world wide webbed, so this link is a very old 4 years old but still:
bleacherreport.com/____nba-why-the-league-should-seriously-consider-contraction  Bobcats are back to Charlotte historical Hornets.

Nope.  It's a place; not a perverse King James thing.
NFL?  Nope.  Jags could be somewhere else if it were contractually feasible.  Think London.  Toronto.  Louisville.  These weekly venues of the football (incl. MLS) have room to grow, especially when the quality of talent does.
