I am for serious leagues for the ladies that shadow the men's leagues. And I know my whole serious exhibition games before the men's leagues is dampened when I emphasize a different exhibition. Hormonally, I'm an animal guy through and through.
I don't necessarily think that a woman's hockey start would have to be sexed up. And hockey is a generally padded up sport. And the turf to land on is a scraping ice. And it's a little chilly down there.
But I'm sure it could get a start in Canadian cabin fever.
There is a sort of worship of women.
And that's why there is this:

then one day, probably after baseball and football and certainly after
basketball and soccer, there will be a formidable league for women to
play. Canada first and then America?
