Outdoor big leagues is covered for ol’ Porkopolis.
The city is posturing for arena sites.
The Cincinnati Gardens is a ghost with their ol’ Royals NBA shadow and their Beatles echo.
Riverfront Coliseum has for a long time been nowhere near NHL standards, even though many acts have poured through, including a healthy dose of minor league hockey and arena football for a long time.
AHL and ECHL thrived in town simultaneously around the turn of the century. Many acts of hockey, indoor football and elbow ball coursed indoors, most memorably for me being the Cincinnati Rockers, Cyclones and Mighty Ducks at different venues.
I really feel Louisville will garner the Rastafarian NBA before upriver does. Will Cincinnati do more hockey and upscale NCAA tourneys? Sounds about right for Sweet sixteens and great eights. Two minor league hockey teams would be beer and hotdog fun.
We shall see.
NYC, Chicago and LA today.
Yankees were with the Dodgers and Giants.
But did you know St. Louis was rocking two at once? So was Boston. The Athletics bounced from Philly to Kansas City before the Oakland to Las Vegas hop.
Throwback to 1945 season thanks to Wikipedia
The traveling baseball show of Savannah Bananas is expanding teams. Drum roll:
Indianapolis Clowns
Loco Beach is multi-towned, Foxboro, Mass and Orlando among them.
Brands are on their own.
Do St. Louis peops root for LA? I doubt it. Maybe some transient black Israelites do. They always have.
If the Bengals vacated Cincinnati and moved to Louisville, well ... a lot of big Bengal fans might, and proximity helps. But Bengal nation would barely grow.
Let me guess.
Off the top of my noggin:
Raiders
Los Angeles. Oakland. Las Vegas. San Antonio surely would've taken them. I feel even though Texas is far from the original spot, Raider nation is a brand that stays stuck to the dude
Portland wishes
...they didn't puff tran knee pipe.
Cowtoys?
Lakers?
Yankees.
That’s it right? Were it not for the economic reality of moving for better job pay and opportunity I would take shot at all the ppl from NY or LA that move far for good job.
Things like Mississippi Braves moving to Columbus, Georgia
