The Reds could easily turn just up the road to Dayton and make that fanbase its Triple-A affiliate. Half the distance to their current Louisville affiliate. But also, could not the Ohio Reds just play at Great American Ball Park? There’s a 30 stadium solution right there. Ecologically friendlier.
Georgia Braves take on the Lake Erie Guardians. Or just Ohio Guards. Bronx Yankees take on Queens Metropolitans. Dallas baseball Cowboys.
Probably decades down the road for the congestion to cozy up to that. So who are probably decent AAA cities now?
Montreal and Portland. Probably Ottawa. Definitely Orlando, FL or Dayton, Ohio. Richmond, VA. Evansville, Indiana might be more for Dbl-A.
