Commish said he thinks two London teams. Where else for another two in Europe? Perhaps Berlin and Barceloma?

Next Triple-A cities?

If Charlotte gets a MLB team, will the Knights who are housed there now move? Houston and Atlanta are among metro areas that keep their TripA team very close. What I'd like to have seen as of yesterday would've been swapping places with the Rays for some Carolina Rays.

As you glance over the map, you might spy Witchita and Portland in waiting for bigger time. Perhaps a Birmingham or San Antonio promotion or more for Boise. Why I wish something in the big leagues for Tennessee Sounds in splitting time between Memephis and Nashville is that their TripA team could be housed in those same cities if not the very same spots as the top club, sometimes even at the same time, perhaps showcased in double-header form. Let the Cardinals find their new AAA spot, like to Little Rock or Evansville.

Even though Texas turf is vied for at the highest level, if a farm club is put somewhere more federal near a big military installation, like in Fort Hood TX with a city of over 100k people adjacent to the base, a nifty crowd hailing from across the land of Americana can assemble. I'm not sure if the discussion then should be more for those places being a Double-A squadron or High-A, but it could be a good transplant crowd of transient Americans. While I love minor league teams close to the MLB clubhouse, places like Arizona and Florida are inundated with MiLB play.

So, lets say Vegas gets MLB. They could then have Reno, and the Diamondbacks could root up into Killeen, Texas. For the Expos again, the thing probably becomes more no-brainer with a team in Quebec City or Ottawa. If big time Vancouver, ya' have choices in an Alberta brand... or even by a port in Alaska or a foreign place like Portland.

What do you got for this? I've played some minor league city shuffle at each MiLB level on some previous blog posts. Indianapolis has been vacant from MLB discussion for awhile it seems. IndyStar:

Nashville, Las Vegas and Oakland

And I didnt say Portland at all.
America hates Portland. It's a Soviet shithole. Realistically, sure, a majority of people from there are biz as usual, just living their lives (and letting it happen). Nontheless, too bad so sad. Oakland, Im glad you havent caved to the rich assholes by taxfunding them a colliseum. But youre still a nappy marxist sex trafficking monkey place. Las Vegas may be the same, just smeared in perfume, and it's too early in their history for them to sport a team unless they became a West Coast A's brand, splitting time with the Bay. Nashville, Charlotte and Montreal have stand-alone cases, but Im still a fan of a 40 home-camp games in two places. A Tennesse Sounds or Athletics team in Memphis and Nashville would be awesome. Id even like to see the Carolina collaboration of Southland Sounds hubbed in Nashville and Charlotte, dabbling in New Orleans and Memphis from time to time for that Americana feel, and an end to a Braves monopoly, filling major gap in real estate. If I had to pick just one, many of us lean Nashville. Montreal and Vancouver should share, and I've talked North Country 'Jacks before. What do you think?

The Kansas City Expanse

Once the home to the NBA's Kansas City-Omaha Kings a few years after logo pictured below, KC seems to anchor an expansive fanbase outside of Kansas and Missouri? The ol' KC Chiefs...

What two new WNBA places of Play?

sportslogohistory.com/new-wnba-teams-map

In my imagination I spy a Miami Might and a Cross Denver (sporting a nurse emblem), as far as map gap goes. Salt Lake Saltines is giggly.

Yes yes yes, Cross Colorado is rough. Mountin'. What about Albuquerque Venetians or PortlandMantoos? What about the San Fran or Cincinnati Stunners? Alabama Slammaz and Oklahoma Cowgals. Omaha Mamas, Boise Girlsie, and some Utah….Yes Please! Disney World Stars?

Elbowball all year. USFL map gap chat

Take a look at some of these Reddit maps

What do you scope for yourself on a USFL map?

Leaves a lot to laughs and a lot to some better future filling in.  My compliments to Alabama in having portal pros outside of the Crimson Tide.  And the whole inaugural season for all the teams is played in Bama.  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Football_League_(2022)

Houston, New Orleans, Tampa and Birmingham form half the teams.

The other half is comprised of Michigan, New Jersey and the two cities in Pennsylvania of Pitt and Philly.  Not sure the western half of the country is Houston Gambler Nation.

I’m all for wider representation.  Ohio Aviators, …even if a lot of the team may very well be half literate ghettoids from not-Ohio. Time for some Kentucky Downs.  Oklahoma Oilers. Utah Hawks. Oregon Trucking.  Nebraska Farmers. Midwest Fishing based outta’ wherever,….multiple nodes, as talked about on this blog time and time again.  Apparel and branding big misses still exist by the leagues, especially for people who could care less about the team sports, but would wear a Road Warriors shirt.  Detroit Diesel. Austin Bike Club. New Mexico Posse. On and on.

Tennessee v. Carolina Baseball, MLB. We have a Dream

I’m looking forward to the likelihood college baseball will be elevated over MLB viewership.  But I’m talking about MLB in Nashville and Memphis over Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, both markets about 250 miles away from Hotlanta.

Yes, baseball shot down a two-place team, and maybe it wasn’t the right fit in the form of Montreal and Tampa.  But the Florida Marlins should be reborn as a two place team at St.Pete and Miami, freeing up a franchise a la Rays to Charlotte, and MLB can expand to Montreal/Vancouver and Nashville/Memphis.  I think both the Tennessee and Carolina big brands of baseball can play in new 25k seat stadiums in the era of the TV being more lucrative than ticket.  And they should share time with a nice minor league park, like in Memphis and Raleigh.  Smaller, more romantic and right-sized parks and more hearts grown fonder.  Charlotte has MiLB cheerleaders. So does Nashville.

Montreal Devils and the Tampa Rays

Or just rebrand the team the Travelers and set a barnstorm format with other places as camp-homes. Or should this concept with Montreal just tag Vancouver into the fold?  I’ve bespoke it before, the North Country Lumberjacks, the ‘Jacks.  Or Coasties Coasters, Travs, whatever.  Different time zones for the fans.  A different kind of jackin at night.

The Time-share, sister city, split city concept, whatever snowbirdish stadium hopping it would officially be called, got rejected as a headache for the league.

As far as Tropicana Field’s worthiness, I’m sure every opinion is correct -and I mean that… not sarcastic at all.  The stadium works.  It’s fine.  Play ball.   Is it the cheapest or most efficient upkeep?  Probably not.  But building a new one initially isn’t gangbusters for the environment either.  Long run, it’s a biz that wants to maximize profit like maintenance, including leveraging money out of the taxpayers’ pockets (subsidies).  Speaking of big biz control, fuck, of course proverbially speaking with nothing necessarily in reference to sexual orientation or failed culturism, fuck that commie culled Zuckerberg and his fag natsie private choice against free speech.  He’s a social retard.

Dual City team of Montreal and Tampa Rays SHOT DOWN by MLB

Geographically, it’s a weird fit.  I’ve been saying for a long time the lack of butts in Florida seats, both at the Marlins and Rays games, calls for a Florida Marlins again, splitting time between Miami and Tampa Bay.  A smaller place around St. Pete, or really a smaller place at both sites could be more picturesque.

Map Gaps in MiLB major league affiliates

When looking at this gorgeously convenient Wikipedia supplied map of the MLB minor league landscape, some gaps jump out.

wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_League_Baseball

Even though Wikipedia acted like a non wiener-chop transvestite by making it hard to have a clean image, it’s their image.

To me, it’s Colorado Springs and Boise.  I’d like the Wyoming Truckers in Cheyenne.  Baseball back in Montana would be very un-sad.

The triangle side of Boise to Colorado Springs is the better part of 900 miles.  The Colorado Springs to Billings side, which runs through Cheyenne is about 620 mi.

Places like Boise and Billings are covered thanks to the independent Pioneer League, but even still that organization is an MLB partner, like a side piece.  But honestly, it’s good that pro players have a place to land.  With the official minor league draw-drawn (contraction), I’m curious if more dudes will opt for college ball.

What do you think?
